Jen Mahon MASc, BEngSc

Jen is an accomplished business executive, angel investor, and consultant with in-depth knowledge of and experience with growth strategies, industry operations, business analysis, and project management. She holds two degrees from McMaster University, namely a B.Eng.Sc in Materials Engineering and Science and a M.A.Sc in Chemical Engineering.
She is a Partner at NorthTech Capital Investors, is an Advisor for NorthSpring Capital Partners, and has been a mentor in many incubators and accelerators across Canada. Her current practice at NorthBridge Consultants focuses on working with early-stage and mature companies in order to increase success with various government funding programs, aiming to improve general operations and implement sustainable growth strategies.

Marat Mukhamedyarov

Marat Mukhamedyarov is a managing partner at Good News Ventures, a Pre-seed and Seed stage fund focused on Tech companies located in North America. He has experience as the Chairman of the board of the York Angel Investors group.

Aaron Goldstein

An associate lawyer in Gowling WLG’s office, Aaron is a member of the firm’s Business Law Group. His practice focuses on general corporate law, private M&A, as well as asset-backed financing. As part of his practice, Aaron regularly acts for a wide array of clients ranging from large international banks to local start-ups.
Aaron is a key leader in supporting the Hamilton office’s efforts in promoting economic development and technology commercialization in the region for, and on behalf of, key institutional clients including McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC) and start-up and scale-up enterprises with particular emphasis on advanced manufacturing and other technology companies. Driven by positive client outcomes, Aaron is committed to building and developing mutually beneficial relationships between clients and accelerating the growth and success of those relationships through the services he provides.
Aaron received his juris Doctor from University of Toronto in 2017. Prior to law school, he earned both bachelor of science and master of science degrees at McMaster University, completing his graduate work in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour.
